Poorer families pay hundreds of pounds extra to keep their homes warm(21/01/2011)
According to new research carried out by Save the Children, families on low incomes are paying nearly £1,300 more each year for basic goods, services and heating their homes than the better off – a rise of more than a fifth since the survey was last carried out in 2007.
