West Housing Association selects Sentinel Rapid Dose to prevent internal corrosion of heating systems
(03/04/2009)
West Housing Association (WWHA) provide homes and services to more than 25,000 people and manages over 9,000 properties. Working with Sentinel, PH Jones and Wales and WWHA, Graham has ensured that the best value solution has been implemented for the maintenance of quality homes throughout Wales with the introduction of Sentinel’s new Rapid Dose product. The product, which prevents internal corrosion of heating systems, was chosen by PH Jones and approved by the housing association.
As Alan Masters, Business Director for Contract Branches North, says: “With Graham’s knowledge of delivering value across the supply chain, we were able to identify that whilst Sentinel’s Rapid Dose product wasn’t the cheapest on the market, it had the potential to generate significant time and costs savings in the long-term. The decision to add value to the procurement process will enable WWHA to reinvest cost savings in front-line activity.”
Timothy Mann, Mechanical and Electrical Contracts Manager at Wales and West Housing Association, comments: “Working with multiple organisations in order to deliver real value has been a really positive move for WWHA. The benefits are clear and WWHA has benefited from improved quality and long term cost savings. In addition to a much more effective supply chain is that the move generates significant cost savings for the end user.”
