Ducrow Court, the Knightstone Housing Association development of 60 new homes built by Leadbitter in Backfields, Bristol features one, two and three bedroom affordable apartments, all designed to meet the Code for Sustainable Homes. Polypipe Ventilation has had its Domus Supertube ducting installed into the new housing association development in Bristol as part of the Exhaust Air Heat Pump system.

The apartments feature energy efficient lighting, under floor heating and a NIBE Exhaust Air Heat Pump system operating with Domus Supertube 125 (204mm x 60mm) flat channel ducting. The Domus system works particularly well with the NIBE equipment due to its excellent air flow performance and market leading leakage rates. This helps NIBE units work at optimum efficiency.

Installer MG Plumbing chose the Domus ducting to operate with the NIBE Pumps as, according to Mark Shortma, "It's very easy to install. I use Domus ducting all the time as it has a good catalogue range and the literature is very good. I also get good back up from Polypipe which is important."

The Domus range features the widest selection of plastic ventilation ducting products in Europe, including an extensive range of fittings and outlets to ensure installations benefit from the quickest ducting route with the greatest ease and efficiency. Specifying premium engineered ventilation ducting such as the Domus system reduces sourcing, design, installation and operating costs.
