Honeywell todisplay Sundial RF2 wireless enabled heating control packs at PHEX autumn shows
(20/08/2010)
The new Honeywell Sundial RF2 packs include a wireless enabled timer and a wireless thermostat, plus a wireless cylinder thermostat where required. There are no control cables to run or cable holes to drill, and no lifting carpets or floorboards. In upgrades, the new energy saving timer simply replaces the existing timer and the wireless thermostat works automatically, with no need to change the wiring to the rest of the system. In many cases the timer slots in place of the old unit and on the existing backplate.
Honeywell's Sundial RF2 wireless enabled heating control packs will feature on the Honeywell stand at the PHEX autumn shows, at Manchester United Football Club (13/14 October 2010) and Chelsea Football Club (23/24 November). The packs have been acclaimed by many installers for making installation very quick and easy in upgrades and new installs, with no disruption and no damage to the décor.
Other innovative, high quality heating controls and water products on show from Honeywell include thermostatic radiator valves, digital and analogue thermostats and a comprehensive range of valves and other water controls.
The packs feature TPI (Time Proportional and Integral) advanced energy saving control, providing more accurate temperature control than traditional thermostats and uniquely also matches boiler firing to the load on the system, so the boiler operates much more efficiently.
Honeywell Sundial RF2 packs are an ideal solution to providing advanced energy saving control to the 80 percent of UK homes which lack the minimum controls required by Building Regulations. Government figures reveal 8˝ million UK homes do not even have a thermostat, of which 6 million have a programmer or timer.
