Micromark broadens range of fan, ceramic, halogen, quartz and convector heaters

Micromark has broadened its range of heating products with fan, ceramic, halogen, quartz, and convector heaters and a new range of oil-filled radiators.

The products can be used in a number of ways, including to supplement existing central heating, add extra warmth to drafty rooms, or make a conservatory warm and cosy for the forthcoming winter months.

Micromark is also introducing their new ‘designer’ brand products which offer extra style to fit in with modern interior design. The new convector heater, MM53587, offers up to 2000w of power with a convenient LED display, housed in a stylish silver and black chassis. While the new black oil-filled radiator, MM53581, provides up to 2500w of heat, a 24-hour timer and up to 11 radiator panels.

Another highlight of the new range are the ceramic heaters which offer significant benefits over traditional units – they are highly efficient and safe, low cost energy saving operation, and come in a compact and modern design. The oscillating unit, MM53528, is ideal for effectively heating a larger area.

Ceramic heaters are predicted to be big sellers in future. Morag Melville, Senior Product Manager at Micromark explains: “Ceramic heaters are a relatively new technology and with major efficiency and safety benefits for customers, we are predicting significant growth in this category. Micromark’s new range provides solutions for all needs, from smaller desktop units up to entire room heaters.”

Fan Heaters

Fan heaters are great for rapidly heating their surrounding areas. Light and portable, these can be used almost anywhere. Effective bursts of heat create warm and toasty areas.

Ceramic Heaters

These heaters work through a combination of ceramic and aluminium panels that used together produce heat as electricity passes through them. An in-built fan then effectively distributes the warm air. The result is an effective, compact, efficient and safe heating product.

Range includes: MM53509, MM53528 (oscillating), MM53575, MM53508 (wall hanging)

Halogen Heaters

Using radiant elements that emit infrared light (like a halogen light bulb); halogen heaters directly warm an area incredibly fast. All are oscillating.

Quartz Heaters

These heaters generate instant heat to warm cool spots quickly.

Range includes: MM53571, MM53573 and MM53574

Convector Heaters

Convector heaters are extremely quiet to operate as there is no fan involved in the heating process. They are also fantastic at generating steady heat for larger rooms and do this by reheating cool air in a continuous cycle.

Range includes: MM53582 (also model MM53583 (with turbo heater) and MM53584 (with turbo heater and timer)), MM53585, MM53586, MM53587 (“designer” range)

Oil-Filled Radiators

Oil-filled radiators are designed for ultimate convenience. They run silently and do not add or remove moisture from the air, creating a comfortable warm atmosphere. Heat can be carefully managed with adjustable thermostats and timers that come on certain models, while castors make larger radiators easy to move from room to room.

Range includes: MM30127, MM53513 (also model MM53514 (up to 2000W, 24 hour timer and 9 radiator panels) and MM53515 model (up to 2400W, 24 hour timer and 11 radiator panels)), MM53579 (“designer” range; also model MM53580 (up to 2000W, 24 hour timer and 9 radiator panels) and also model MM53581 (up to 2500kW, 24 hour timer and 11 radiator panels).

All Micromark heaters comply with the relevant British Safety Standards, while some are BEAB approved.
