Guide to to installing a water softener

The new 130-page Softener Supplies Catalogue, now available from Harvey Softeners Ltd, covers a comprehensive range of products from installation kits to drinking water taps.

This catalogue includes a 60-page, easy-reference, ‘How to’ section covering everything from how a water softener works and how to make a hose connection, to installing a softener in the loft. It even shows how to successfully drill a hole in granite worksurfaces. The catalogue’s handy A5 size also makes it easy for installers to keep a copy in the van for easy reference.

“A lot of time and effort goes into this catalogue to ensure it gives plumbers and installers as much product and technical information as possible, to simplify ordering and installation,” says Casey Bowden of Harvey Softeners. “Many of our dealers also find the How To section extremely useful for training new installers, engineers, sales and administrative staff.

“We work closely with our dealers and welcome feedback on all the products and services we supply. This year, in response to that feedback, we produced two versions of the catalogue: a priced catalogue for the dealers’ use and an un-priced version for the dealers to display in their showrooms and take with them to show customers on home visits.”
