Baxi has been named Green Manufacturer of the Year at the InstallerLive Awards. Baxi was also a finalist in the Heating Manufacturer of the Year category. The award ceremony, hosted by comedian Rufus Hound, was the climax of the InstallerLive Exhibition at the NEC, and was attended by hundreds of heating and plumbing industry professionals. Baxi Ecogen wall-hung micro-CHP unit meets Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes

Baxi has launched the Baxi Ecogen, the first commercially available micro-CHP (Combined Heat and Power) unit for the home. The appliance’s Free Piston Stirling Engine (FPSE) generates up to 1kWh of electricity whilst providing abundant supplies of space heating and hot water for the home.
