Fitting CO alarms to become a statutory requirement in every 'at risk' home

In America there are around 450 deaths each year attributed to unintentional carbon monoxide poisoning and a further 15,000 related hospital emergency visits. A new report from the American Journal of Public Health suggests that around half of the CO alarms subjected to testing failed to function properly.
