The Low Carbon Building Programme Phase 2 has been extended until April 2011. Following the latest budget announcement, an additional £45 million has been allocated to the LCBP, £35 million of which has been directed to Phase 2, the public sector stream. This sees the scheme extend from July 2009 until April 2011 to continue to support renewable technologies’ development until the introduction of the Feed-in Tariffs and the Renewable Heat Incentive.
